Surrey, B.C. – Under another cloudless blue sky and in front of another sell-out crowd at Jamie Rogers Arena, the final pool round of the 2026 Cloverdale Rodeo wrapped up Sunday afternoon with athletes battling for every point and dollar as the race to Monday’s Finals came into focus. Pool B competitors delivered clutch rides and fast times in one of the weekend’s most important performances, with the top money earners across both go-rounds officially punching their tickets to the Finals on Monday afternoon.
Tickets for Sunday’s Pool B Go Round 2 sold out days in advance, continuing the trend of packed rodeo performances throughout the 2026 Cloverdale Rodeo. Fans who weren’t able to secure a seat at the Stetson Bowl still had the opportunity to catch every second of the action through the Cloverdale Rodeo’s official live stream, which drew record-breaking online viewership over the weekend. The expanded digital broadcast allowed rodeo fans from across Canada and beyond to follow the competition in real time, replay key moments, and stay connected to one of Western Canada’s premier rodeo events.
Monday’s finals are also a full sell-out, so the best way to catch the action is to watch the live stream either at home or at the viewing party at the Lasso Lounge on site at the Fairgrounds.

Saddle bronc riders opened the afternoon with a high-scoring showcase led by Layton Green, who secured back-to-back go-round wins with an outstanding 89-point ride aboard Ice Man. Green and Ice Man met just two weeks ago, and the rider got the better of this battle as he took top spot and earned his way into Monday’s Finals as the top earner with $5,600 under his belt so far. Lucas Macza followed in second place for the second time, too, with 86 points on El Dorado, while James Perrin secured third after an 85-point effort on Bail Bond. K’s Thomson, Sawyer Eirikson, and James Perrin rounded out the money positions in a tightly contested performance.
When the totals from both pool rounds were finalized, the Finals field for saddle bronc riding was officially set. Advancing out of Pool A were Kolby Wanchuk and Kade Bruno, who tied atop the money standings after dominant performances across both go-rounds, alongside Ben Andersen and Zeke Thurston. From Pool B, Layton Green surged to the top of the leaderboard with a massive weekend total, followed by James Perrin, Lucas Macza, and K’s Thomson. With eight elite riders now headed to Monday’s championship performance, the stage is set for a stacked Finals round and a battle for one of the biggest paydays in Canadian rodeo.

The bareback riding competition delivered another electric round of action as Taylor Broussard topped the leaderboard with an impressive 88.5-point ride aboard Xotic Tango. Kody Lamb stayed right behind with 88 points on Blue Bananas, while Mason Stuller and Leighton Berry split third with matching 86.5-point rides.
With money from both pool rounds combined, the bareback riding Finals field is now locked in with an impressive lineup of talent advancing to Monday afternoon. Pool A was led by Ty Taypotat, whose consistent rides across both go-rounds secured the top earnings position, followed by Trapper McAllister, Ethan Mazurenko and Cooper Filipek. In Pool B, Kody Lamb finished atop the standings based on his consistency in both go rounds, while Colton Clemens, Taylor Broussard, and Mason Stuller also earned their spots in the Finals. The depth of talent in the bareback field has made it one of the most competitive events of the entire weekend, and Monday’s championship round promises even more fireworks as the top eight riders battle for the championship and a share of the $25,000 payday.

Bull riding once again brought the crowd to its feet in the final event of the day as riders put everything on the line against some of the hardest-bucking stock of the weekend. Spur Owens delivered the top score of the afternoon with an 87.5-point ride aboard White Lie, while Cody Coverchuck and Ruger Piva tied for second at 83.5 points. The combination of fearless riding and explosive bulls created another unforgettable chapter of rodeo action inside Jamie Rogers Arena.
After tallying the total earnings from both pool rounds, the bull riding Finals field was officially confirmed with a powerhouse group of riders advancing to Monday’s championship performance. Pool A was topped by Jacob Gardner after another dominant weekend in Cloverdale, with Jordan Hansen, Dusty Golden, and Lonnie West also earning Finals berths through consistent rides and key money finishes. In Pool B, Spur Owens led the way after posting the top score of Sunday afternoon, while Ashton Sahli, Cody Coverchuk, and Ruger Piva rounded out the advancing group. With eight riders now set to return to Jamie Rogers Arena on Monday afternoon, fans can expect another intense showdown as the finalists put their grit, courage, and determination on display in pursuit of the 2026 Cloverdale Rodeo title and the $25,000 payday.

Ladies barrel racing wrapped up the afternoon with a lightning-fast battle against the clock as Carman Pozzobon claimed the go-round victory with a blazing 15.91-second run as Ozzy Osbourne’s Bark at the Moon blared on the PA. Sloan McFarlane followed closely in second at 16.07 seconds, while Brooke Wills and Kaitlin Schuck also turned in strong runs to finish in the money. With every hundredth of a second proving critical, the overall standings remained tight right to the final run.
When the dust settled, the barrel racing Finals field featured a stacked lineup of talented cowgirls advancing from both pools after two intense rounds of competition. Pool A was led by 2024 Cloverdale Champion, Vanessa Leggett, whose consistency across both performances secured the top spot in the standings, followed closely by Madison Wilkerson, Rene LeClercq. In Pool B, Sloan McFarlane topped the earnings leaderboard after back-to-back second place finishes. Go-round winners, Pamela Morrison and Carman Pozzobon finished in second and third places, and Brooke Wills rounded out the list of riders who punched their tickets to Monday’s Finals. With every hundredth of a second expected to matter in the championship round, Monday afternoon is shaping up to be a thrilling race for the Cloverdale Rodeo title and the $25,000 winner’s cheque.
