The 2026 Cloverdale Rodeo & Country Fair is raising the bar with an exciting lineup of new experiences. From an early Thursday night kickoff to the all-new Rodeo Drone Show, lively pre-rodeo Tailgate Parties, the expanded Backstretch Action Zone, and a host of family-friendly additions, this year’s event brings fresh energy, new traditions, and even more reasons to celebrate across the May long weekend.

Not One, But TWO Rodeo Drone Shows!


On Friday, May 15, at 10:00 PM and Sunday, May 17th at 9:20 PM, the sky lights up with a spectacular drone show above the fairgrounds, adding a can’t-miss visual experience to the weekend. (free with fairgrounds admission)

✨The Friday show takes off at 10:00, following the headline performance by k-os.

✨The Sunday show is scheduled for 9:20 between the headline performances by Gord Bamford and The Road Hammers.

💥 Backstretch Action Zone 💥

Experience nonstop adrenaline at the Backstretch Action Zone! Demolition derbies, motocross stunts, and lumberjack shows combine for unmatched excitement and high-energy entertainment. It’s the premier destination for thrill-seekers and families craving unforgettable action.

🏍️ Marquee shows:

  • Global FMX Freestyle Motocross Stunt Shows – An adrenaline-charged spectacle where motocross riders launch off towering ramps, soaring high into the air with speed and precision.
  • Demolition Derby – Watch trucks, cars, and minivans clash in demolition derbies, or see minivans and minicars race on a figure-eight track.
  • Westcoast Lumberjack – Jam-packed full with tons of action such as the hot saw race, axe throwing, log rolling, standing block chop and more.

🧗 Exciting additions:

  • Backstretch Bar (19+) – Backstretch Bar brings biker bar attitude to the heart of the event, loud, gritty, and built for good times.
  • Axe Throwing – Try your hand at axe throwing and see how fun it is to step up, take aim, and let it fly.
  • Food Trucks – Grab a bite from a lineup of food trucks serving up fresh, fast, and crowd-pleasing eats all day.
  • The Rockwall – Take on the rock wall and see how high you can climb. It’s a fun, hands-on challenge that’s all about balance, grip, and a bit of determination. Step up and push yourself to the top. Open all five days. $5 per climb.

The Newest Hotspot!

Step into Rodeo Reds, the Cloverdale Rodeo & Country Fair’s newest hotspot – included free with your fairground admission! The new, expanded space under the big tent beside the Agriplex offers two experiences: all ages are welcome by day, then Rodeo Reds transforms into a 19+ late-night hotspot after 10:00 PM with a VIP vibe (don’t be surprised if you see the rodeo contestants here after the show).

This unique venue brings the energy all weekend long with live music curated in partnership with the BCCMA, line dancing lessons for all levels, and a Friday night takeover featuring the North Country Collective’s Rodeo Roundup.

Buckaroo Kids Corral at the Cloverdale Rodeo

The excitement keeps going, especially for the littles! The Buckaroo Kids Corral (formerly the Buckaroo Barn) will feature the new Buckaroo Stage with exciting, family-friendly performances. This lively space will also include the famous LEGO display and sculptures, a sensory room for quiet relaxation, and a variety of fun games.

Brett Kissel, Cooper Alan, and Morgan Klaiber hit the Longhorn Saloon Stage

For the first time since 2008, the Cloverdale Rodeo and Country Fair is kicking off one day early! Gates open at 4:00 on Thursday, May 14, 2026, giving fans exclusive early access to the country fair and a must-see live concert that sets the tone for the entire weekend.

The main event at the Country Fair Kickoff is a special Thursday night concert, headlined by country stars Brett Kissel and Cooper Alan, presented by 93.7 JR Country!
