Featured Attractions at the Backstretch

Demolition Derby

Experience non-stop action in the Action Zone. Watch trucks, cars, and minivans clash in demolition derbies, or see minivans and minicars race on a figure-eight track. In the rollover competition, vehicles aim for the most flips. Young drivers take mini cars for a spin in the high-energy Power Wheels Derby. There’s excitement for all ages at every turn.

West Coast Lumberjack Show

Jam-packed full with tons of action such as the hot saw race, axe throwing, log rolling, standing block chop and more, this non-stop show is fun for the whole family and is sure to leave you entertained.

Freestyle Motocross Show

An adrenaline-charged spectacle where motocross riders launch off towering ramps, soaring high into the air with speed and precision. Mid-flight, they perform daring tricks, backflips, tail whips, and no-handed stunts, before landing with force and racing toward the next jump, thrilling the crowd with every gravity-defying move.

The Outlaw Bar

The Outlaw Bar presented by Green Timbers Pub brings biker bar attitude to the heart of the event, loud, gritty, and built for good times. Expect strong drinks, classic rock, and a no-nonsense vibe that keeps the energy rolling.

Food Trucks

Grab a bite from a lineup of food trucks serving up fresh, fast, and crowd-pleasing eats all day. From quick snacks to hearty meals, there’s something for every craving.

The Rockwall

Take on the rock wall and see how high you can climb. It’s a fun, hands-on challenge that’s all about balance, grip, and a bit of determination. Step up and push yourself to the top.

WHERE IS THE BACKSTRETCH?

The Backstretch Action Zone is located on the main throughfare (62 Ave). across from the Agriplex. Look for flying motorcycles, a huge rock wall and the lumberjack poles!

WHAT ARE THE HOURS?

The Backstretch Action Zone is open every day from gate open until early evening. Make sure to check the daily schedule as evening events wind down around dusk and you don’t want to miss a minute of the action.

Thursday: 4:00 – 9:00 pm

Friday: 4:00 – 9:00 pm

Saturday: 10:00 am – 9:00 pm

Sunday: 10:00 am – 9:00 pm

Monday: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm

The Backstretch has it’s own style, so we’re bringing signature eats and beverages to the venue, too.

For a cool beverage, the new Outlaw Bar – presented by Green Timbers Pub is a must visit. Think rock-and-roll, and biker bar vibes to go with the high-octane actions!
