Brenda Prince

Meet Your Emcee

Brenda Prince is an Anishinaabe comedian who has been lighting up the women’s comedy scene in the Lower Mainland since 2019. A Stand Up for Mental Health graduate, she brings a sharp wit and big auntie energy to every stage she steps on. Brenda has performed at Just For Laughs Vancouver, the Vancouver Fringe Festival, and the Arctic Comedy Festival and is now featured in the new Rez Comedy film.

As our Emcee for the weekend, Brenda will use her humour to set the tone each day, kicking things off with an open mic where the audience is invited to join in song and dance. Get ready for a weekend of laughter, connection, and maybe even a little fried baloney wisdom—because if laughter is good medicine, Brenda’s serving up a full plate!
