The Food Scene at the Cloverdale Rodeo & Country Fair

You definitely won’t go hungry while attending the Cloverdale Rodeo and Country Fair this May Long Weekend – there are more than 50 food options to choose from! Experience a unique fusion of international flavours and beloved fair food, ranging from food trucks, concession stands, indigenous foods, tons of BBQ and fan-favourite rib trucks!

Fun fact: In 2025, Cloverdale Rodeo and Country Fair food vendors served up 125,000 mini doughnuts, 2,000 ears of corn, 5,000 slushies, 4.600 burgers, and 5,000 lemonades!

The Cookhouse & Beer Garden

The Roundup Cookhouse & Beer Garden is back by popular demand at the Cloverdale Rodeo & Country Fair. This is the place to find legendary BBQ and mouth-watering burgers in an outdoor, sit-down setting. Feeling parched? The Roundup Cookhouse has you covered. Quench your thirst with beer, cider, wine, and cocktails and take in the sights and sounds of the fair from your vantage point in the picnic-style, full-service restaurant. 

Keep the kids (of all ages) busy with lawn games and relax at your covered seat with table service. Take a moment to refuel and recharge as you take in all the sights and sounds of the country fair. Rounding out the experience is a lineup of live music and DJs that will get you up out of your seat to heel, toe, and do-si-do into the late evening. You can’t miss the Cookhouse—it’s in the heart of the action right next to the Agriplex.

Rib Fest!

Rib Fest offers a variety of finger-lickin’ options, sure to please. Sprinkle in a little friendly competition between these world-class pit masters, and you’ve got a recipe for an unforgettable bbq experience. Choose your favourite and pair it with a cold beverage. Ribs and rodeo—it’s a match made in heaven.

Get your rib fix beside the Agriplex on the way to the Stetson Bowl with three vendors to choose from! Bonus: there’s a fourth rib-truck in the main Food Court.

Where to Get a Cold (or Warm) Beverage

You’re never far from a watering hole at the Country Fair! Whether you’re looking for an ice-cold Coors, a locally crafted libation, or a rodeo cocktail, you will surely find something to quench your thirst. The wide range of drink options includes signature options for all ages, including popular lemonade, slushies, freshly roasted coffee, and more. 

Fair Tip: Don’t miss the Hops & Vine Garden – offering six craft beer options and local wine paired with up-close and personal live music performances.

Fair Tip: You can bring your beverage with you almost anywhere on the fairgrounds. So you can pick up a drink and keep moving to your next destination. Note: there are some areas where you can’t bring alcoholic beverages, so please ask your friendly rodeo volunteers if you have questions.

Get into the Fairgrounds for free on Sunday, May 17th!

Bring your appetite and help support a great cause! Every “Rodeo Sunday,” volunteers from around Cloverdale put on a delicious pancake breakfast supporting a great cause. Entrance to the Fairgrounds is free when you attend the pancake breakfast, and the breakfast itself is by donation (recommended minimum donation of $5 per person).  Fuel up with a delicious breakfast and hit the fair!

When: Entrance is open from 9:00-9:45 on Sunday, May 17th
(note: The breakfast ends at 10:30 a.m.)

Join in on this annual tradition, which serves as an important fundraiser and generates scholarship funds for the Cloverdale Rodeo Youth Foundation Initiative.

Pro Tip: Cowboy Church starts at 10:00 on Sunday morning right next door to the pancake breakfast, too.

The food scene at the Cloverdale Rodeo and Country Fair is filled with fair favourites and flavours from around the world. With over 50 food options to choose from, it’s easy to pair classic fair fare with flavours that you can’t find at any other Country Fair! Check out a few of the international options below!

Aloha Poke

Choose from a mouth-watering selection of simple, strong flavors, and combine them into a refreshing experience. Using tried and true recipes, the current state of cuisine has a large focus on subtle creativity. Aloha Poke offers a wide range of food items as well as more creative selections that combine unique flavors.

Stampede Bison Burgers

This one hits a little closer to home, but it brings a world-renowned option to the Country Fair: Bison Burgers! If you’re feeling like a classic with a twist, this is an option not to be missed.

Urban Wood Fire Pizza

Urban Wood Fired Pizza travels the mountains and the valleys of the lower mainland to bring you pizza. The thin crust and fresh ingredients are your perfect companion between rodeo events, served on 100% compostable service ware, with ingredients sourced from local farmers when possible. 

Fusion Icy - Bubble Tea & Fresh Fruit Desserts

If you enjoy bubble tea, lemonade or desserts inspired by Asian flavours, then visit the Fusion Icy truck! Tasty, nutritious and completely unique, Fusion Icy serves up delicious desserts and beverages including Icy’s (shaved ice dessert), grass jelly, lemonade, and bubble and milk teas.

Taco N Todo

Since 2018, Taco ‘n Todo has been proud to offer authentic Mexican dishes, based on family recipes passed down over many generations. They’re committed to delivering freshly prepared food using specially sourced local and imported ingredients. Taste their unique flavours reminiscent of visiting Mexico itself. 

West Coast Bannock

West Coast Bannock is home to the Bannock King & the Best Bannock on the West Coast! This delivtful food truck is Nisga’a, Gitxsan & East Van owned & operated. Try a tasty West Coast Willy Salmon Sandwich, Bannock Burger Taco, or the incredible GG Special: bannock rolled in cocoa sugar, filled with fresh strawberries and whipped cream and covered with chocolate shavings – just a few of their many delicious offerings!

Hunky Bills - Ukrainian Food

Fill up on tasty, authentic Ukrainian food a Hunky Bills – a fair event staple since 1967. Delicious dishes to try include Perogies with Cabbage Roll & Sausage, Smokies and Sauerkraut, and Northend Poutine.

Just Jerkin Around

Authentic Jamaican Food. Quality Caribbean Flavours.

Just Jerkin’ Around is a full service food truck bringing the spices and the flavours of Jamaica and the Caribbean to Chilliwack and the Fraser Valley.

Taco Nori

Crunch is one of the most popular food textures and these two best friends decided to add this element to their favourite food: sushi. Seaweed is deep-fried into the shape of a taco shell and the enjoyment is filling them with quality ingredients, to enjoy the fresh sushi taste with an added crunch to every bite.

What started as a venture between best friends every summer since 2018 at the Richmond Night Market, Nori Express, decided to plant some roots to satisfy cravings year-round.

Spice up your Taco Tuesdays by taking a chance with well loved flavours in a new hand-held experience. An innovation that started for a love of crunch, Taco Nori.

G's Donairs

G’s Donairs wants you to experience the flavor of Canada’s signature take on the döner kebab. Owner, Grahame, first fell in love with the donair in 2008 and within months started his own trailer with his family. Today, they are still passionately serving up donairs with fresh, homemade tzatziki, hummus, or Halifax sweet sauce.
