Cloverdale Rodeo and Country Fair Early Bird Tickets and Announcements
Experience an Original Kind of Country This May Long Weekend
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
March 11th, 2024
Surrey, BC – Round up, country fair fans! Early Bird Tickets for the 2024 Cloverdale Rodeo and Country Fair are on sale starting March 15th. Almost all 2023 events were sell-out crowds, and preparations are underway at the Cloverdale Fairgrounds for another jam-packed lineup of rodeo performances, live music, and a unique mix of country fair attractions. Perennial fairgoers will attest that the Cloverdale Rodeo and Country Fair has a style all its own, and the 2024 event can be summed up in its new theme – “an original kind of country.”
“We’re making a bold statement this year: The Cloverdale Rodeo and Country Fair is Canada’s most unique country fair. The event truly is a reflection of our evolving community, and we’re proud to honour traditions and showcase emerging events side by side,” states Kathy Sheppard, Cloverdale Rodeo and Exhibition Association President. “Where else can you experience a 133-year-old country fair, one of Canada’s largest rodeos, a world freestyle skateboarding championship, live music from major artists, lumberjack shows, pro wrestling, and so much more? Not to mention the one-of-a-kind mix of internationally-inspired and fair-favourite food.”
The food lineup is a perfect showcase of the event’s uniqueness. The 2024 event welcomes back favourites such as the Roundup Cookhouse & Beer Garden, hosted by the Joseph Richard Group, Rib Fest, and the mouth-watering pancake breakfast supporting the Cloverdale Rodeo Youth Initiative Foundation. The leadup to this year’s country fair will also see the long-awaited return of the Chicken Dinner and Dance after a 25-year hiatus—details to be announced in the coming weeks. The country fair also hosts over 50 food trucks with fare ranging from amusement park favourites to South Indian, Malaysian, Cuban, and more. The country fair’s April newsletter will give fairgoers a sneak peek into the full lineup of vendors, and attendees can sign up at https://cloverdalerodeo.com.
The beverage scene at the Country Fair is just as diverse as the food. Headlining the range of libation locations is the Hops & Vines Garden. Building from its popular debut in 2023, attendees can again look forward to unwinding in an expanded outdoor space, sipping on featured craft brews and wines, picking up a charcuterie box, and taking in live music performances.
With so much happening and limited availability for ticketed events, attendees are advised to purchase their tickets early. Early bird ticket pricing is available until April 17th:
- Early Bird General Admission tickets are just $10 for adults, and children under 12 are free.
- Early Bird Rodeo Performance tickets are $20 for adults, $7 for Youth (3-12 years old), and toddlers (2 and under) are free.
- Early Bird All Day Ride Passes are $40 per person.
In addition to new early bird pricing, organizers have a few tips for the ticketed events at the 2024 Cloverdale Rodeo and Country Fair:
- Longhorn Saloon tickets must be purchased in advance, and all tickets are $20 per person. The single tier of pre-purchased tickets replaces the “Beat the Line” and “At the Door” options from previous years. A limited number of tickets are available for each day, and they are expected to sell out well in advance. Any tickets that become available on the day of the event will be released for $25 per person.
- General Admission Tickets are valid for entry into the fairgrounds. Tickets for Rodeo Performances and West Coast Amusement rides must be purchased in addition to general admission. Bundles are available for purchase.
- Rodeo organizers are expecting another busy year. Attendees are advised to purchase well in advance to avoid lineups and to secure their tickets before they sell out.
- On-site ticket sales are cashless. Advance purchase is recommended.
Tickets can be purchased through the online ticket portal starting on March 15th: https://www.showpass.com/cloverdale-rodeo-and-exhibition-24/
Big announcements are also in the works for a stellar lineup of live musical performances and updated events. Details will be announced soon on the event’s website, social channels and through the newsletter.
